Your Career Job Searching Your Resume The Interview Other Advice Essential Tools

So, how do you build a resume for an IT job when you've never had an IT job?

The answer to the question is in the presentation. Remember, a resume is just an advertisement for you. Just like any advertisement focuses the attention on the positives, so should your resume. Identify the skills that you learned as you sought certification, and get them down on paper. Separate the skills from the past jobs.
