Description:

The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is the first step in the Microsoft certification. When you pass your first Microsoft exam, you become MCP.  Microsoft's MCP Certification Site 

Requirements:
You must take one exam:
Four Core Exams (You must choose one)*
  070-210 Windows 2000 Professional
070-270 Windows XP Professional
070-215 Windows 2000 Server
 
 

070-218 Managing a Windows 2000 Network
070-224 Managing Exchange Server 2000
070-228 Managing SQL Server 2000
 

* Note: Almost any Microsoft exam qualifies you for MCP. The exams listed above are exams that are commonly used as a path towards this certification.
