Overall, the Network+ test
is not hard. You need to know a lot of detailed
information to pass the test, but the test is very light on practical
application. Sufficient study from the right book (or guide) will get
you past this exam.
To pass the exam, you just need to know the
details of the concepts. Read the study guide. Memorize the study guide.
Everything fits into the OSI model: Protocols, hardware, troubleshooting.
Read EVERYTHING on this site about this
exam. The Study guides cover all of the material that you need to know for
the exam. If you don't understand a concept in the study guide, research.
You can learn a lot about a technology by
doing a Google image search. Use it for all types of network hardware,
tools, etc...
You can also increase your probability of passing by using a good quality test-prep software like
Apti-Test. There are currently two quizzes online in the Practice Tests
